In a society of overconsumption that is counterbalanced by sustainability and reuse of materials, I use seemingly useless and natural materials, which are transformed into a process of renewal and new vitality. For me, working in series in a process-based way is a method in which there is room for experimentation. Sequence of small steps are an important factor in this. A working process, not a final phase but a progression, subject to changes, merging and growth, fusion of value and imagination With a contemplative view, looking anew, seeing and re-creating, with a focus on vulnerability, transience and fragility. As a poetic tribute to nature and seemingly useless materials, which lead to a tranquil simplicity with the question of what is valuable, worthless and why.
